Chrissy Hogue Bartels is a multi-hyphenate actor, producer, director and writer based in New York City. With over 40 years in the industry, she booked her co-star role on NBC’s Chicago P.D. on only her second-ever television audition. She trained in Improv at The Second City Chicago and completed her acting conservatory at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in addition to holding an MFA in Film & TV from Regent University and a BA in Acting & Dance from Franklin Pierce University. [NBC]; series regular, The Mall, Culture Cravers, Coop Cookery, Ghost Town; Best Supporting Actress win, The Painter; Best Supporting Actress win, A Swan’s Song; Best Short Film & Best Director, Another Good Day. Onstage, she starred in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated, sold-out Off-Broadway one-woman show The Stupid Economy, written and commissioned for her, and has enjoyed, originated, and played gender bent roles including Medea in “Poison/Heart”, Petruchio in “Taming of the Shrew,” and Olympe de Gouges in “The Revolutionists”.
